Matcon undertook the bulk excavation and shoring of a residential tower in Burnaby, encompassing tasks such as bulk/detail excavation of 70,000m3, shotcrete shoring covering 42,000sf, installation of 47,000ft of tieback anchors, and placement of 540ft of pipe piles as outlined in our contract.
Notably, the project's uniqueness and challenge stemmed from its proximity to the Millennium Line Skytrain.
