This was a uniquely challenging project due to it’s extremely remote nature. The Matcon team was tasked with the removal, disposal, and backfill of over 20,000m3 of contaminated soil, construction of a treatment cell and more.


- Construct 6,000 m3 Treatment Cell
- Excavate and Place 20,000 m3 Contaminated Soil
- Backfill 20,000 m3 Contaminated Soil
- Construct 2 – 1,500 sqft concrete building foundations
- Drill and Inject 1.4 Mill Kg Hydrogen Peroxide below 14 m using direct push drill rig
- Aeration of 9,000 m3 of previously contaminated soil
